ABOUT US

We are Bryan and Sam, and we started Red Fawn (originally named Moonsalt) with a mission in mind----to share the offerings of herbal blends and plant medicine with anyone who will listen, to support arts access for all and connect artists across cultural and linguistic barriers, and to work with creative and artist spaces to share the benefits that a daily herbal tea (& more) ritual can have on a life and creative practice. After turning to plant medicine ourselves during our own journey of battling burnout, overstimulation, and other challenges of modern life, and healing physical, mental, and spiritual trauma, we felt strongly called to bring people back to the knowledge and joy of plants

We also care about the plants, people, and ecosystems we work with, prioritizing responsible and sustainable growing and sourcing in everything we do, purchasing Fair Labor, Fair Trade, organic, and local ingredients. And as artists, musicians, and creative entrepreneurs, we knew the wellness of the arts community was going to be a driving component of our vision.

COLLECTIVE + COMMUNITY WELLNESS FIRST

We owe everything to the people who have kept us going, including our home community of North GA and Metro Atlanta, our newer community of Central IL and tea bar in Peoria at plant-based restaurant The Queen of Squash, and our larger national community of supporters and regular customers. We aim to put people first in everything we do, and that's why our herbal education never ends, and we're always available to answer questions. Our blends are created synergistically, with many herbal energetics, actions and interactions considered, and are blended in a certified gluten free commercial kitchen.

FORAGING AND GROWING

We're dedicated to our goal of not only growing and wildcrafting our own organic herbs and working closely with them, but helping others do so as well. We will be sharing this journey with you with the hope that it may give you the confidence to do so as well, and experience the joy and wellness benefits of working with mother Earth in a way that leaves nature and humans healthy and in tact for future generations.

ARTIST AND WELLNESS EVENTS

As artists, musicians, and creative entrepreneurs, we knew creative communities were going to be a driving component of our vision. We believe that a healthy, aligned body and mind, and a healthy and generative creative practice, go hand in hand. We're passionate about offering support for the holistic wellness of those in our community, making it our goal to provide resources, workshops, and events that feature opportunities for us to gather and share in our collective wellness and success on every level.
